You might try leading with the headline that it’s ILLEGAL.

True.

A profoundly bad take on how people are reacting to this grossly illegal action by Trump. To label someone’s “true” feelings as being anti-Israel when they are actually anti-war is to assume motivations and intentions you know nothing about. Next up: you’ll label me anti-Semitic.

Hey, @billclinton.bsky.social: Thanks for endorsing a corrupt sexual predator who was rightfully drummed out of office years ago. Your attempt to resurrect this garbage tells us exactly who you are, so we appreciate the transparency.

@davidfrum.bsky.social You don’t believe the assessment of our intelligence community that Iran was not making progress on a nuclear weapon? What makes you better than Trump if you think all we need is for him to notify congress before taking unnecessary military action that will threaten millions?

BARTIROMO:
Why did Trump tear up the nuclear deal struck between the US and Iran that ended Iran’s nuclear program?
Just kidding. She’s compromised.

He is impossible to watch. If need be, I will turn off the volume and do subtitles. It’s like nails on a chalkboard with his bad over-acting and effusive suckupery.

We are WAY past the point of having lost our democracy.

What are you doing - specifically - to help end this madness?

Self defense.
Defense of others.
Both are solid defenses to criminal charges.

You would need a workforce unburdened by empathy or any other human emotion (outside hate) to conduct these raids, so I have to assume Jan 6-ers are the majority.

How long until the National Guard and active duty troops are rounding up people?

The quality of your journalism and commentary is wildly overshadowed by the forum in which you work. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to share space with people as stupid as those with whom you work. Have you considered a move to a network that isn’t a Trump propaganda machine?

Anyone at risk should be carrying self-defense tools. The rest of us should be carrying them as well, to aid in the defense of our neighbors.

“Defense of others” is a defense to criminal charges. It exists for a reason: human beings can and should try to intervene when they see someone being physically attacked, kidnapped, etc. If ICE continues operations this way, they should expect to suffer serious repercussions.

Everyone should be carrying mace right now. At the least.

All people of color, especially Hispanic or Hispanic-appearing folks, should be carrying mace right now.

No, they answer to the voters. The governor cannot fire the mayor of Los Angeles.

I was born here, and I’ve been to several marches. This is the biggest in our city‘s history.

Have you guys gotten paid yet? I got $37K for protesting today, but I really negotiated hard.

Portland showed up! Biggest protest I’ve ever seen here, and I was born here!

If I believed in reincarnation, I’d be pretty sure this is Hitler come back to life. Truly a despicable person. His parents must cry themselves to sleep every night.

“Content warning for deep bruising and traumatic story.” Please, please, PLEASE people. Stop using language like this. Adults are not delicate babies incapable of digesting difficult material. Especially now.

Worth stressing that this is Trump trying to goad people into protesting his birthday parade so his malevolent forces can infiltrate the protest, wreak mayhem, and cause a massive scene while the military is present. #wagthedog

Trump knows Elon can blow the whistle on the theft of the election. That’s why he’s not doing his usual retribution game.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Unless it’s March 31, 1996, in the Oval Office. See the difference?

This is an extraordinarily naive and unintelligent take on the current state of affairs in conjunction with this military “parade” fiasco. I can think of 20 better ways to honor the military and increase recruitment off the top of my head, and I didn’t sleep last night. This is embarrassing.

As disgusting and outrageous as all of the comments from Trump, Bondi, and other members of the corrupt administration are, I’ll offer the silver linings perspective: most defendants and their counsel don’t have the advantage provided by these public statements.
