It’s a 1.8 8v too. Mad spec.

Redditch would work. I’ll check them out. Much easier than Wrexham, that’s for sure.

That looks like it might be a good option, loads of choice on their website. I’ll send them an email to see if they keep stock of them. Thanks!

There used to be LMA on my doorstep but they’ve moved (and maybe closed now?). Merlin is a bit too far.

I’m steering wheel shopping but I want to see/hold some. The only two I can think of at Silverstone are Competition Supplies and Grand Prix Racewear but neither have a decent range like Tweeks :(

That’ll be the problem then.

The guy who built it was talking about building a few more to order. Can’t imagine it’s a cheap prospect though.

Got it in two. Would have been one if I’d not gone for the model it’s based on first.

What Car? Liked it in a 1989 group test against a Golf GTI 16v and a 323 turbo 4x4

I’d like another one but when they start being real money, I’m not sure I do.

I suppose technically this was breakfast, it’s the first meal of the day.

I know but the Corrado and the 440 *were* on sale in 1988. It’s closer than using a mk4 Golf and a S40. I agree on the plates but the people who would pick up on it are the insignificant minority. What’s weird is that they bothered getting new plates at all, wrong or not.

This is a bit of a niche technicality though, as both cars were first sold in 1988, just not those exact models. (And obviously the number plates are another issue)

M&S used to do some unsweetened flavoured sparkling water but I think they’ve changed them all so they’re now with stevia. :(

Reserve not met at £21k. I think the owner is expecting too much.

That’s the number I’m aiming for overall. Was down to 75ish in 2020 but I’d got nothing to do but exercise so it was easy to work the weight off. 85 will do and I’ll get that done by late September I hope.

That’s a decent amount in a few weeks!

Cheers. It’s beeb tough being disciplined enough to drag myself to the gym regularly, but it’s worked.

Oh no, believe it or not that’s a previous one!

Terrible image quality I know. If I get out of my car it’ll fly away.

Yes.

I don’t dislike the later ones but I’ve always wanted an S1. It’d be interesting to see how far you could get on one tank in that one though. Would be a nice change from the normal tests people do with diesels.

Number one ‘tube on wheels’ design.

The current quickest is here too but not having much luck so far with a slightly different setup. Ran a 7.29 in Malta last year. The world record is 7.10 from way back in 2008 so if he can make it work that could fall.
