Canadian society benefits enormously from pretty much all of our universities being honking big public universities located in large cities. Over the last 30 years they've become somwhwat more selective, but none of the craziness y'all have down there. The college application process took 5 minutes.

We used to have a narwhale tusk at my old Parks Canada job, that thing was so bad ass - it was heavy and basically as tall as me. I loved letting visitors hold it.
