We need to persuade farmers to leave their hedges alone. A good thick hedge at the side of a field loses a tiny % of the productive land but give a huge boost to biodiversity and helps with flooding and wind erosion

I wrote to my MP Jonathan Davies and got an extremely generic copy/pasted politic-y reply. None of my concerns were addressed and he completely ignored the outrage and horror doing the rounds after the announcement. This evasion of the bigger picture makes me feel utterly helpless

But this isn’t a done deal yet. With at least a year before cuts come into force, there’s still time for the UK government to rethink. You can help us call for change. Email your MP now action.trussell.org.uk/disability-c...

Shockingly vile. I’m outraged.

This is the nail in the coffin for Labour. They're underestimating the outrage this is causing, and how much people care about the vulnerable and disabled

Very interesting. You only have to glance at the comments section on social media or the local newspaper to know there's some very thick people out there

I hope they introduce migration from different countries. I used to live in the US and have a bunch of pro app purchases associated with that account

When it first came out my mate looked up his house. Outside, his girlfriend’s car boot was open and full of boxes. It was the day she moved out captured for prosperity

Something that's often overlooked: Every penny of a benefit claimant's money get's spent- therefore is good for the economy. The knock on effect of restricting benefits (on the NHS for example) is more expensive down the line. Maybe politicians should be reminded of this before their cruel comments

My great grandad ran a horse drawn cab and his parking stand was outside this building. Maybe that's him! He frequently got into trouble for leaving his horses unattended while in the pub
