In these situations, one of my colleagues told me to say, "I'm sorry, I've learned to never do math in public."

A good man doing bad things? No. A cowardly man who willingly sacrifices the lives of children at the altar of his ambition.

Hey all you people who can't afford the kind of taxpayer-funded healthcare I get, stop worrying that it may cause you to die prematurely. Just embrace JC and you'll live forever. And WTF was the tooth fairy "joke" about?

Senator Heinrich calls authority given to Hassen "baffling and extremely troubling." Wow, another of the Senate's tough-hitting institutionalists. It's not baffling, Senator, that Trump and Burgum are violating the law and circumventing the Constitution. It's a blatant f_ck you to the Senate.

How’re you feeling today, Vietnam, about fast-tracking that $1.5 billion Trump resort?

After at least a decade of Trump as candidate and president, the msm should have established a rebuttable presumption that his words are lies and his actions illegal unless independently established otherwise.

Can't wait to see the NYT headline on this, if they even report it.

Exactly. Destination airport: low marine layer, no automated METAR weather, no operating tower, no ILS vertical guidance, no RAI. As that many things start stacking against you at 3 AM, I'd hope the warning bells in my head would get me headed toward an alternate with better odds.

A not so friendly reminder, from a white woman of course, that it is unacceptable for a woman - especially one of color- to be ambitious.

Imagine airing these "discussions" contemporaneously with the current President incoherently babbling about groceries and Easter egg hunts to the leaders of other nations.

I’m sure 4 years from now Eric Lipton will write a very fine investigative piece on how the “donation” of the jet to Trump’s presidential library was no such thing; just a ruse to shield the personal gift from criticism by the media.

NPR, I know you're worried about your funding, but could you stop already with mindless repetition of Trump administration efforts to frame their actions as a crackdown on illegal immigration.

I've been unable to figure out why absolutely nothing has counted for this one guy. I don't think anyone actually finds him likable or would say 'yeah, but overall he's such a good guy quit nitpicking.'

The one good thing I can think of that has come out of Trump's tariffs is how they are revealing the new feudal order. Billionaire lords telling the serfs that they should be eternally grateful for having a couple of dolls or for the factory jobs that they and their descendants will have.

Thank you for this insight. Given that Trump is only capable of interacting with others by trying to dominate them (except Putin), I see no prospect as long as he is President of the kind of cooperation with allies and other institutions that you have identified.

I'd like to see Democratic primary challengers hold town halls in these 4 districts:
Jared Golden (Maine),
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.),
Henry Cuellar (Texas)
Ed Case (Hawaii).
