Oakland DOT set up a nice bike & pedestrian detour around this temporary construction closure at the Telegraph protected bikeway. I worked w staff way back in 2017 to develop the construction controls guideline ensuring safe & accessible facilities past construction closures.

The difference in both the Queens bus network and map redesign is ten times better. Running buses without deviation and consolidating redundant routes, along with using route colors based on frequency, makes the system much cleaner and easier to understand.
