If you have carbon bars, do you find you have to clean under the tapes often? That’s been my main concern with using my road bike on the rollers inside.

I’m impartial to a small airport like LGB- especially when they have open air terminal areas (photo not mine)

It’s a circular problem. The mindset that transport is for the poor/lower class is a large reason it doesn’t get adequate funding. The lack of funding, convenience, and perceived safety discourages those with other means of travel from using the network and reinforces the racial/ classist perception

Yes, the attitude was most definitely “won’t.”
The classist attitude towards public transp networks is bought by suburbia on a national scale. I experienced different treatment when I chose to leave my car home and ride UTA (SLC’s transit scheme) to work and college.

I understand when people new to cities feel intimidated at first go. And likewise, I think the NYC metro system is poor for people with limited accessibility, night shift workers, and is an outdated mess compared to global city transit systems. That’s not however how the article was framed.

I’m not trying to be cruel to the author, but what do we expect from someone who primarily covers Disney theme parks… like yeah, they’re going to be disappointed in reality. And I’m sorry, but if you travel 100 days per year and can’t navigate the subway, you’re doing more than one thing wrong.
