In practicality, the actual "work" part of a CEO's position is ambiguous "sense of leadership" shit. The ultra-high-level decisions that people make within the context of their business are not made meaningfully better by any particular person being in charge.

Obamacare was an improvement but "socialism" would mean "no hospital is private" and "instead of having some demonic network of health insurance companies, everyone's money goes directly into funding these hospitals & thus each others' medical procedures".

Not only is this true, but only on the hardest difficulty is this dynamic removed.
I have some level of maturity and understanding of probability, so this sort of thing makes me feel infantilized. I noticed the same thing in Battletech and it really cut into my enjoyment of the game.
