Immigration has been happening for many thousands of years. For the vast majority of the time, paying tax had not been a requirement. I guess you picked an awkward time? Anyway, thanks for your contributions (not just the tax).

Well for one they are acting illegally. Committing criminal acts, violent criminal acts that cause serious alarm and distress in the community. The community has been violated. That's very serious antisocial behaviour. And they need to be held accountable to the law. Also to the constitution.

It won't fly because they have agreed to uphold the constitution of the USA. That's their individual responsibility, that takes president (no pun intended, but it's a good one) over what the President or any other government official (a.k.a public servant) says.

The issue with tax is that it uses coercion under threat of violence to extract from others. I thought Greenpeace advocates non-violence?

I've seen what looks like shame operate in a herd of horses. And also seen it with pet dogs. So it can be healthy. Dogs can and do get seriously screwed up by some owners. And horses too. Many children get damaged by their parents, shaming is often a significant part of that.

My experience is in the area of psychological and emotional healing. The trauma and suffering resulting from misuse of shame and the associated lack of worthiness is so deep, and so widespread, it's hard to grasp. My view is to put attention on healing rather than shaming.

Immigration is something humans have been doing for many, many thousands of years. To beneficial effect. Whereas pumping farm animals with hormones and other unnatural substances, is very new, and is proving to be detrimental to animals, humans and the environment.

Maybe a lot of people are resentful, disillusioned and angry. Never been supported or shown how to process those feelings. And have acted them out in a tragic and self-destructive way, voting for something with the intention it would be just as destructive as it is?
