At the small town Wisconsin one I attended, at least half the crowd was over 60 with many over 70.

Throw in the Stoughton and McFarland No Kings crowds and Dane County was well represented. It was great to be part of this.

Ok, since you are foolishly letting him into your country for the G7 conference, why don't you take him out, which is what you are implying we aren't doing here. Should be a lot easier than us doing it, you just have to through those Marines he's taking with him up there.

Maybe a little surprised. I went to one at a nearby small town that ran from 9-11 central, so maybe the organizers are #AT40 fans? I saw no police there. People of all ages, including lots of gray haired folks. One MAGA yelled "go home losers" but most passing vehicles honked in solidarity.

He's listed as 7'1" and 208, but I wonder if he's less than that at this stage of the season. Could probably benefit from nutrition and weight room training in the off season to bulk up and not get run over against physical teams.

Yeah I'd be leaving. Why sit there and take the chance of getting the shit kicked out of you by ICE and the other Hitler Youth?

Cool! You were consulted.
I figured the post Desert Storm parade was in part an acknowledgement of Vietnam veterans who were often treated badly during that war. It was the beginning of appreciation of Veterans that accelerated with 9/11. That could evaporate quickly in this administration.

I saw the movie "The China Syndrome" the day the Three Mile Island partial meltdown occurred. Saw the report on the news after returning home from the movie. It was surreal.

A few years ago, I bought a used 2012 Chevy Cruze ECO model that came without a spare, just an expired can of tire sealant. I bought a compact spare and jack off Ebay from one of the other 2012 Cruise models. No spare is supposed to lighten it up for better gas mileage, but it's a lousy way to do it

I can't imagine taking orders from this guy will go over well with actual commissioned officers, but 🤷

Great documentary. An early crush of mine since Star Trek, she was one of the most beautiful actresses of her time.

Even better would be no one showing up for his military parade, and no one watching it on TV (he's big into TV ratings).

Hate for the sake of hating anyone that doesn't fit their criteria of a Real American. Often accompanied by hypocritical quoting of Scripture.

That's the thing if he ever declared Martial Law over the entire nation or even large areas. There are not enough military to lock it down and they'd leave lots of soft targets unguarded for any guerrilla type resistance. Plus our actual enemies would take advantage overseas. Bye Taiwan.

As I recall, while the US maintained a presence in Vietnam after the Paris Accords in '73, it was at a much reduced level. When North Vietnam began it's spring '75 offensive, Pres. Ford had no popular (or congressional) support for escalation and that was the end of it. People had had enough.

IMO Rather than large armies facing each other, we would see a guerrilla war, a lot of hit and run fighting. Similar to what we saw in Afghanistan after the Taliban was toppled. Or as an example from our Civil War, it would be similar to what went on in Kansas and Missouri. It was very ugly.

Yes it's certainly up there, or down there, at the bottom. For an entire decade perhaps a Bottom 10 would be appropriate and this dreck would be there. #at40

What's really wild is that Perry Como was still alive when Santana recorded his Supernatural album, where he collaborated with several artists, like Rob Thomas. They could have recorded something together. #AT40

If hate is the most important thing in one's life, it's probably not hard. Didn't seem to bother Nazi guards in concentration camps to commit atrocities on a daily basis. These guys are cut from the same cloth.

The short answer is the wrong people died during the pandemic. The oligarchs, the right wing media, Republican politicians made it through and we all know they could not give a shit about anyone else. If they didn't die or become seriously ill, it wasn't so bad in their way of thinking.

Perhaps Hegseth needs to be reminded that Harvey Milk was a US Navy veteran and that Harriet Tubman was, among other things,a Union Army spy, scout, and led a combat raid that freed hundreds of slaves at Combahee Ferry, South Carolina.

To me, the wild card in potential martial law is how many in the military would participate in it. That would be the end of Thank You for You Service if they started rolling tanks down Main Street.
