That's a bit drastic. If anything, Calah should be tried for corruption and child abuse. Basically he deserves major public humiliation, that never ends, for the rest of his long, long life. Maybe a life sentence to a criminal labour chain gang, that's responsible for keeping the sewers clear/clean.

Are your pants made of cotton or another natural fibre? If so, wash 'em in warm to hot water then toss 'em into the dryer. That should shrink them enough to tell you that if they're still (somewhat) comfy, then you've lost weight.

I hope said stair step machine has foot pedals that stay horizontal as you work out. The ones that are just traction pads on the end of the foot bars are murder on your feet, ankles, and calves.

Well, if your hips and ankles are also fine I recommend using a stair master exercise machine. One hour of half-killing yourself by stepping and the weight will melt off. That's what I did years ago to loose almost a hundred pounds. And it helped with my health too. 😄
