Perhaps: Many people lost their head recently?

You are right. But I do have a heart for England, a heart for academia, a heart for Cambridge (and its university), a heart for a bit of tradition, and a heart for sports in general. I take the rowing for granted then. 😉

You're welcome. I like the project a lot. Looking forward to hear more about it in some way in due time. Good luck!

Strange indeed. I have never experienced that.

Not sure if I interpreted the question correctly. But Bluesky offers several "feeds". One of them is "following": just a chronological list of posts from all accounts you follow. You can add/remove the feeds and change the order. I put "following" first and mainly check that one, when using Bluesky.

Could you be so kind and share this info with me too, Olga? I was also unpleasantly surprised by the high fee and fear that such fees brings risks to our/other institutions' ECPR membership (experienced as expensive in itself), even more in light of all budget cuts. Knowing what plays a role helps.

Big congratulations! I hope this wonderful end of one period is at the same time the start of a next phase in which the academic community can enjoy your presence for many years to come.

The book by Bingham Powell, Elections as Instruments of Democracy (2000), is my favourite on this topic. He also has a journal article with John Huber in World Politics (1994) summarising the key points from it. www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctt...

Tja, geen "music for the masses".
