Yup. I absolutely support it *in principle*, but with the state of things at the moment it's impossible to see how it can be in any way implemented without people being or feeling coerced.

Fair comment. Voting some of those down is awful.

And the government knows all of this, of course.

You certainly can't introduce this with the NHS in crisis, Liz Kendall trying to kill disabled people (and their carers) by cutting their support, people living in extreme poverty and access to healthcare unequal across different groups in society. People will feel all of these things as coercion.

Also swimming events all to be classified by foot size. Michael Phelps and his size 14s will need a category of their own.

Sadly she was being interviewed by Amol Rajan, so he just nodded earnestly and didn't offer any challenge whatsoever.
I might launch a campaign for all sports to be divided into arm-length categories.

I’m not sure there has been any specific data collected on this (but I could be wrong). I have seen PGRs simply allocated to new supervisors where their supervisor has left, which is obviously very sub-optimal.

Maybe, but in that case they need to be held to account for taking the wrong collective stance rather than the wrong individual one!
