No, don't think it's good strategy to rough up Caitlin Clark. But what I really can't stand is these paternalistic podcasters and pundits saying, "Hey, she makes you a lot of money!" Just another version of the condescending "You should be more grateful!"

One thing I notice about the incidents with Sen. Padilla and Lander the mayor candidate in NYC: There isn't a chorus line of blue-checks saying, "You're making me support him and vote for him now!"

This is a "just enough." There's no consequences for his lying about it. And it gives a veneer of something "official" that's being done.

You're correct about him, Senator. This is what the Stephen Millers want, though. Compromise is nice, and I believe you're genuine, but this is the danger of legitimizing those who put unabashed bigots in power. They demanded honor for the military, now do this to one who helped us.

People who mostly agree politically with Mike Lee get in his replies to tell him he's not a Christian when he posts about believing in a different scripture book. Those same people won't say the same for his callous jokes about murders.

If Castellanos hit a grand slam to win the World Series, the Scond Coming might occur and he'd get his wish.

John Fetterman: "What if I took the side of the people who made fun of the way I dress and my mental health?"

It's sad to see stuff all over the other site playing fast and loose with disregard for facts. Even sadder when the worst offender is one of my state's US Senators.

Dry Eagles Dry

/opens Facebook "No Kings Day is about silencing Christians!" /closes Facebook

"There won't be any wars" /pulls string on back again "There won't be any wars"

The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

Those opposed to the protests are making a *very* big deal about what country's flags are being waved.

This will be copy/pasted thousands of times on FB tomorrow. That's how The Apparatus works.

Sly Stone, pioneering leader of funk band Sly and the Family Stone, has died at 82

He just needs enough people in 6 states to believe him and vote accordingly

ok so people are using 10 different angle shots of the same car on fire to say, "The city burned to the ground!"

After seeing years of "Your criticism of the powerful person is making me support the powerful person even more!" I wonder what those folks do when the two most powerful go after each other.

What I've learned about politics in my state and country: Utah - You don't get a Pride Flag ban without shortsighted, ignorant legislators who leave gaping loopholes and betray their animus. USA - maga doesn't get its agenda without rich megalomaniac bullies whose egos can instantly fizzle.

Once again, Dez drops it.

Wonder if Aaron Rodgers has theories on how the Immaculate Reception *really* happened

Everyone online is talking too fast in videos. Every one of you.

Spending too much time looking for a book I have that concretely refutes a flippant comment made on Fox News. Is it any wonder how misinformation spreads so fast?

Happy Pride month!! 🏳️‍🌈

My son was peer-pressuring his friend to wear sunscreen. The kids are alright.

Today is a day that everyone who says, "You can just move to another state/country if you don't like it!" can be told, "You can't just move your thumb twice to scroll past what you don't like!"

Oh, look, I wrote this two months ago.

Just dropped a thumbtack and can't find it, so my day is ruined

People voted for the current president because last year, many of them thought companies like Boeing were having accidents because of "DEI," and that Hurricane Helene aid was insufficient. This week, Boeing got let off the hook by the DOJ, and FEMA denied to match aid to North Carolina.

Travis Hunter is exuding wholesomeness by the day

Just raw-dogged Costco (went through without trying any samples)
