También usé gedit por buen tiempo para programar en fortran y python y uno que otro script de bash, no necesitaba nada mas sofisticado e incluso me molestaba visual studio o anaconda y esos ide para python pues como dices usaban tantos recursos que no podia ni navegar bien. buen articulo!

Si, es horrible que debes usar Excel en windows porque el libreoffice no tiene cierta opción o alguna incompatibilidad del demonio. Aforturnadamente no requiero nada muy específico en excel y comparto en google sheets las hojas de cálculo que necesito con la gente del trabajo.

Beamer is the answer you are looking for. It could be hard at the beginning but later you cant stop using it. If you are in a hurry what about google slides? It is easy to use.

Me va bien con una samsung galaxy s6 lite. Es una tablet con lapiz. Tal vez te sirve, y si tu presupuesto te lo permite puedes intentar con unsa S8 o s9 de estas. Ojala sea de ayuda.

as all our mails are conected via google services (just write the name of the professor and gmail autocomplete the name). All this services on the google suite. I like it a lot, unfortunately not all students and professors take advantages of it

Google classroom let you create a class where your role as a teacher let you upload files, homework with or without deadlines or post announces. A class can have more than one teacher (another faculty) that have to accept the invitation. If I need to contact other faculty I send an email...

My Colleagues create whatsapp groups and send information via whatsapp. I don't like it and I prefer to manage information via mail or google classroom (where students can also reply posts)

As a physicist, i made some simulations that exports many data as raw text. Once, me and my collegue generated so many data that we received an email from tech support indicating that we must clean our disk space cause we fill almost 80% of the storage 😂 i felt embarrassed, but i learn about it
