ICE is the January 6 insurrectionists all over again. Only instead of attacking law enforcement, they are pretending to *be* law enforcement. And instead of just terrorizing at the Capitol, they are doing it EVERYWHERE.

We never had to worry about the U.S. military being used against our own country when Biden was president. But that’s exactly what’s happened under both Trump administrations.

Here’s the simple problem: the vast majority of cops are Trump voters, so they all support what ICE is doing ideologically. And they never feel bound by law. It’s why police power needs to be drastically curtailed for public safety reasons.

Granted the competition is cutthroat, with Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Pamela Jo Bondi, Ted Cruz, and Marjorie Taylor Greene in contention, but I think a case can be persuasively made that Stephen Miller is the *most* reprehensible person in American politics.

NEW: Unbelievable. A seemingly endless line of tanks & other military vehicles arrive in DC ahead of next week's parade. They departed Texas 5 days ago. What a colossal waste of time, money & military resources. All for a President who has shown zero respect for service personnel. (🎥 DW)

Holy CRAP. This was fascinating. @hcrichardson.bsky.social and @gilduran.com w/ insight behind DOGE's gutting of govt. agencies, the administration's attacks on universities, Project 2025, and visions of a post-democracy America that would sound like science fiction if they weren't happening today.🇺🇸

RE: SCOTUS decision to allow doge access to our social security. Did they ignore the Privacy Act of 1974???. PLUS the Social Security Administration has its own statutory parameters regarding how it handles the personal information and data of the citizenry.

So the conservative justices who had a meltdown over their "privacy" being violated by Dobbs protests in front of their homes are cool with Musk's Doge minions rampaging through the personal data of EVERY American. Cool. Cool. Double standard. So awesome.

MAJOR UPDATE: The Supreme Court just handed DOGE the keys to all the sensitive personal information Social Security has on file — your income, benefits, health records, and more. Why do Donald Trump and his cronies need access to millions of Americans’ private data? It’s absurd.

This is so important to understand what's behind the anti democracy movements today and crypto and AI and how it all ties together. Please watch! www.youtube.com/live/FWjR6_q...

Reminder that the Social Security Administration (per DOGE) instituted supposed anti-fraud checks for benefit claims made over the phone. Only two out of over 110,000 claims had a high probability of fraud — a rate of .0018%. But it slowed retirement claim processing by 25%.

Q: Congressman, are cuts to Medicare now on the table? REP. JOHN McGUIRE: We just want to right size it. Make sure the right people get it. Not illegal aliens.

On Tuesday a Palantir employee threatened to call the police on a WIRED journalist who was watching software demos at its booth at AI+ Expo. The conference, which is hosted by a think tank founded by Eric Schmidt, is free and open to the public, including journalists. www.wired.com/story/palant...

This isn't actually funny at all; it's a window into Trump's worldview, because he absolutely expected any German official to be upset over the Nazis losing. Because if Trump were German, he would be. Because things like "they were fucking Nazis" are way less important to him than "on my team"

If only Donald paid 1% of his interest to Americans without food/medicine or suffering from natural disasters as he does to childish taunts from Elon Musk. But, as always, he’s laser-focused on himself, not the American people.

The FBI’s Dan Bongino said corrupt politicians should be afraid of the bureau. That sounded good, but... - the FBI is ignoring Trump’s corruption - Trump is rewarding the corrupt with pardons - Trump’s FBI and DOJ have systemically made corruption more likely, not less www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...

"70 law professionals, including 3 former Florida Sup. Ct. justices accused Bondi of requiring attys employed by the DOJ to commit ethics violations to further the Trump administration's policy goals, and either terminating or forcing the resignation of those who refuse to do so."

Pam Bondi is Donald Trump’s Ghislaine Maxwell. USAG Bondi is knowingly hiding a detailed Epstein report from the American public — which unsurprisingly includes our child rapist POTUS — protecting him from a truth which would turn stomachs throughout the world.

Musk vs. Trump: Same old WWF bullshit.

Here is an interesting graphic display: Detailed, interactive map from "The Impact Project" of Trump/Doge layoffs and grant-terminations, by regional effect. (County by county.) theimpactproject.org/the-impact-m...

Internal documents and former company executives reveal how Cigna doctors reject patients’ claims without opening their files. “We literally click and submit,” one former company doctor said. (Published 2023 w/ @capitolforum.bsky.social‬)

"All it will take for the courts to quash Trump's harebrained tariffs scheme is five Supreme Court justices sitting on their hands and doing nothing when this nonsense lands on their docket later this summer. Amy, John, Brett … THINK OF YOUR LOVELY STOCK PORTFOLIOS!" — @lizdye.bsky.social
