This guy would shit himself if he ever came to Chicago. On a daily basis I see way more Polish, Ukrainian, Guatemalan, Colombian, and Palestinian flags than US flags. And I think that's neat.

I give Jack cosequin supplements to help her joints. She also gets gabapentin for back pain and renal food for her kidneys - those were prescribed by her vet, so not specifically relevant, but know your older kitty may need to go on a special diet. And get pet insurance if you haven't already!

I did literally nothing special except wrap the pot in some burlap over the winter to provide extra insulation to the roots. I was banking on mint's reputation for toughness... looks like it paid off!

We've had an unusually cold spring so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit behind this year. But now I know for sure it can handle a Chicago winter on my deck, which is good.

Genuinely think every kid needs to do some kind of sport or physical hobby. Doesn't matter what it is - team sports aren't for everyone; it could be rock climbing or boffering - but everyone needs to learn how to use their body. The benefits last a lifetime.
