I love to see a real life meet up

I mean, unless both Leeds and Forest get relegated which probably will happen at some point

I answered it like 'what do you WANT'

Yeah but let's be honest, no point waiting around for that to happen.

I once got a phone call from work when I was on a beach in the Algarve. No escape

If you come away with double figures from that lot I reckon you're in with a shout for the title

Setting things on fire so I can put them out and look heroic

Terry did have that unpleasant character type that I'd come across at work sometimes and those guys were just dickheads. Soured every memory they were associated with. So I probably have a vendetta too tbh

Woodgate was the best passer in the club when he was at Leeds and probably at Newcastle too. Tarnished his reputation being hanging around with Lee Bowyer, which did not look good for him though.

Berger with the wrestling move to stop him there

The fact he did it twice as well.

Ben Thatcher take a bow.

I think Hansen benefitted in terms of pace due to the back pass rule not existing but his reading and distribution were apparently unreal. And Souness? Terrifying.

There are so many defenders from that era that would get caught out and shown up now. I've been of the belief that Ledley King was the most naturally talented CB England had in the premier league era, along with Rio & we were robbed as a nation due to injuries. All Terry was was aggressive.

Satanic Mills as we used to call him. A red card waiting to happen (although that could describe 8 Leeds players at the time)

Yeah it's hard to see him displacing Gomez or Konate now. Can't remember anyone else other than VVD.

I've heard the reading the game thing before and I think that's fair, that was his main asset in terms of technical ability imo.

I think in terms of England he was one of several players who could count themselves extremely lucky that Ledley King had the injury problems he had.

Fair assessment imo, he was definitely someone I'd have wanted if I was defending a 1-0 lead but maybe less so if i was down a creative midfielder & needed the CBs to step up. He was a better passer than, say, Michael Dawson but I felt like he went sideways too many times.
