If it was, you can bet it will elicit a form letter saying how Thrilled and Grateful she is to be your Senator.

So, whatever any academic in any discipline, has spent their life gaining a breadth and depth of understanding sufficient to teach it to others, they should *also* become expert in AI, its potential uses (???) and limitations, and spend a good portion of their time teaching that.

Their ironic bond is they each dream of having the other's fan base, and absolutely loathe their own. Elon is cursed with millions of sycophants who repeat his drivel thus showing him a mirror to his unfunniness, and Trump's worst nightmare is having to touch anyone who voted for him.

I remember 2010-2022 when Democrats gave Musk billions of dollars and de facto immunity for all crime and he repaid that generosity by bankrolling Trump. We have already tried the be nice to Musk plan! It failed miserably

I think, for example, that attacking environmental regulations while mostly letting entrenched, monied interests off the hook, and not even addressing wealth inequality is immoral. Even if some of the "granular" things they argue have merit, I think the basis of their project is immoral. YMMV.

KJP announcing this / writing this book reminds me of when George Wallace tearfully announced that he wasn't a racist anymore (except that Wallace got away with that, because some read it as a wink and others as permission to overlook his entire previous career).

We can bitch all day about how it's "unfair" but when one side spends four years calling the president's son a criminal every single day and Democratic leadership will at best post one tweet about the president pardoning anyone with a checkbook, this is not "the media's" fault.

No, no, no -- you don't understand: forget about having "plans," or an "agenda," or (God forbid) "principles." You have to get fuckin' granular, man. You know, GRANULAR.

The sixth launch of the Saturn V (1969) put Armstrong on the moon, just 12 years after Sputnik. This is nine straight failures of Starship.
