Nice! I noticed in France at the farmers markets they have named Strawberry varieties, people were partial to certain types like we are with Apples here. I’ve asked several growers over the years never got a clear answer - closest I got was we all grow the same variety here in Ontario.

We have Garter Snakes and babies that use our front porch to sun themselves - it’s kinda fun over the years we named them Sunny, Spawn of Sunny, Sunny 3 ….

Nice! My wife calls them the ā€œTartsā€ of the garden. I love in Japan they have Peony Umbrellas to protect them from direct sunlight and down pours/driving rain

My wife’s uncle would pickup ā€˜mostly dead’ plants people put to the curb on garbage day and took pride in bringing them back to life.

I stopped buying Product of USA Onions, replaced them with šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ grown cooking onions and šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Shallots which are delicious. I’m going to miss eating Vidalia onions this year, small sacrifices

I went into a cultural withdrawal when I came home from a 2 week vacation-a weird sadness I had to drive hours to find delicious cheese, Duck Confit, Dick Fat, Baguettes and flaky Croissants
