Jimmy Carter was the kind of public servant all public servants should aspire to be, though most fall woefully, if not despicably short. He was the kind of person that I should aspire to be, but fall woefully, tragically short.

So back to President Carter - the more I learn, the more I respect his character, vision, and commitment to making the world a better place for everyone. In retrospect, I can't say that about any of the presidents in my lifetime, although Joe Biden meets that criteria.
