I'm watching a German documentary on neuropsyche habituation to crisis. I feel we've a delicate line to walk between overwhelm/withdrawal and habituation/normalzation. Finding one's agency is key.

It's not a real costume until you've pricked yourself with a pin in the making of it, and bled on it.

I think it's time for the Aliens to descend from their UAP's and put America in a time-out. Good grief.

Truckee/Graeagle for me. Got over a divorce by floating in Sierra Hotsprings with snow falling on my head and eagles flying above. Totes magical! Good on you for moving back there!

The 'read' on my side of the fence is that the military were used as pawns in a failed propaganda stunt. There is empathy for those who marched, much laughter at the squeaky tank & Kremlinology applied to reading soldiers' general demeanor. Our military has *not yet* lost respect of civilians.

Don't be so quick to assume collusion. It could be, OR it could be a case of a lone rookie cop assigned to the least complex task of a wellness check, facing yet one damn more unidentified Bureau's unmarked vehicle, and thinking *FBI*. There's a lot of them crawling around.

Good. Not sure why my info was so inaccurate...misattribution on a photo, I guess. Superglad to hear this. I miss Nevada.

!!! Wow!!! Glad to hear! When I lived there, the casinos wouldn't even let a St. Patty's Day parade happen as 'all events had to be inside casinos.' Heh, heh.

I'm mourning a lot more things than newspapers. Before we can build our new Shining City, do we need to lay the Old America, via a symbolic funeral, in its grave? Otherwise America may just ping-pong forever between politically conflicting images of what 'returning to greatness' means?

I bet that was good fun! A strong turnout for Carson! I think Reno had 8k confined to a 1-block stretch, & if they stepped on the street they'd be cited. Reno held the line. We did too in St. Paul, MN. 80k attended despite the political assassination. A bit grim, but we got 'er done. Prouda us all!

How the manhunt goes will say a lot. If he *disappears* and can't be found, there's a high likelihood he's getting help, either directly or indirectly. Got concerns about reliability of LEO's looking for him. Bondi may put her finger on the scale, too. Signed: Fellow concerned Minnesotan.

Erm, I think the jury is still out as to whether Boelter operated as a lone Christofascist with a personal agenda, or whether he acted as part of a larger MAGA scheme. Either way, 45's rhetoric drove the crime.

And tens of thousands of us showed up to march on the Minnesota State Capitol anyway. We will not be cowed.

So we are going to war with Iran to distract us from the Marines invading American cities?

Saw the same thing (minus the tag 'the others') at the RNC08--hordes of unidentifiable uniformed LEO's, in various uniforms. They used the situation to practice kettling & other maneuvers. I've memory-holed its real name, but we have one of those multi-agency coordination centers in the Metro.

So far, I've only met one person who really *got it.* She is differently abled, but not neurodivergent. At this age, most of my autistic peers either remain deeply concealed, or have passed on. (Also helpful: an instruction manual on how to deal with life on the spectrum!) Anyway, THX for listening.

Someone wisely defined this as 'internalised able-ism.' It's a thing I struggle with, coming from a life history of seeing neurodivergence as shamefully less than human. What I need is a path through that, & fellowship with those who've been there. & Recognition and having my experience validated.
