Since the 90s (at least), there’s been a militarization of local law enforcement. Mix that w decreasing regulation, a lack of gun control, and increasing violent right wing rhetoric, and you get a situation where a cop can’t even tell a cop. The officer thought this guy was a cop. This is not okay.
