I am so sorry for your loss.
My mom is a retired RN. She was a white hat nurse. She was happiest taking care of people. It pains her to see how patient care has slipped since hospitals started cutting support staff.

to do. The doctor we got was amazing. He carried a pocket notebook to keep notes on his patients. He also LISTENED to my mother and made sure he fully understood her medical history before making suggestions to help her. He made her feel seen, and I was very grateful to have met a real doctor.

I had to take my mom to the ER to get checked out today because of shortness of breath and tachycardia. The care from the nurses was less than I remember it ever being, but I found out they no longer have aides to help with things like bathroom needs and water distribution, so the nurses have more
