I yelled earthquake and dropped and held on...and...well not much here in San Diego. Felt a bit silly. But glad to have the app (even if one of the tests was in the middle of the night). This is my 3rd warning - so jarring, cannot be ignored.

CA - made my appointment in January - first opening was May 16th. At least when I married 38 years ago, I did not change my name!

HHS needs to investigate him for violating patient privacy.

It’s our turn.

My intro to live theatre was a high school field trip to see him play Cyrano at the Ahmanson Theatre back in the early 70s. After the play he came on stage to have a discussion with the students from all over Los Angeles. Brilliant man.

Do parents of babies know that they have to buy bottled unfluorinated water if they use formula or they might give their children dental fluorosis?
comment in response to post
So long as the kids are being taken in for regular checkups/cleanings and having fluoride topically applied (it's the topical application of fluoride that prevents decay - not ingestion), the kids will be fine.

So good. Totally believable.

Dave Min, a Democrat, won Porter's seat. I respect Porter for jumping into the race before Feinstein announced her retirement, kind of forcing the issue. We need more younger people willing to take on these older Senators who refuse to retire.
comment in response to post
So glad Newsom is doing this now - because one less person to consider for president.

and Peters and Shaheen are retiring - what's their excuse

Bill Cassidy could’ve stopped this. Shame

That's 78 year old skin - and bruising at the slightest touch

Macron's handshake?

You're back! I actually cried out in delight when I saw your K. It's been so long since we've seen you and Apollo. Welcome back.

I was appalled when I heard that one of the first thing Levin was doing as the new President was giving remarks at this conference. Maybe you don't have a lot of control over what Hoover does, but you don't have to endorse it.

Didn’t see it reported on wapo. Nor the senate filibuster
comment in response to post
Why is this not on the front page of the Washington Post? I see nothing about the protests yesterday, I see nothing about the court wins, I see nothing about the senators filibuster.

you might think a California based company would have a better understanding how water works in California. That we store water in winter to be used for growing in summer?

Cassidy had the courage to convict on the second impeachment. It should not take courage to vote against a person who repudiates your life's work. My husband did liver transplants on Cassidy's patients - I am disgusted. I thought he would uphold his oath.
comment in response to post
Shame! Cassidy opens hearing by describing sending child for liver transplant that could've been prevented by a $50 vaccine at birth, describes his work implementing HepB vaccine at birth, shuts down Rand Paul when he objects to HepB at birth. And then betrays his oath and his life's work. Sad day

Had to look this up it’s so unbelievable. Class E felony for officials adopting sanctuary cities. Passed 26-7 in senate.

For example, just heard Bernie point to the Republicans and say "I think everyone there is pro-life and everyone on this side is pro-abortion." Why not say anti-abortion? They are not pro-life.
comment in response to post
Thank you. I did not realize that this was a phrase workshopped by anti-abortion advocates. Words matter and I will correct mine.

Maybe would have been nice if Bush had come out in support of Harris, like his VP. One of his big accomplishments destroyed.

"appeared to violate the law" Did he give 30 days notice? Did he give a reason? Then he violated the law.

Great photo op: Trump should go to that valve and turn it - be a hero, show Newsom how it's done.

He moved for his wife's job in North Carolina - another state impacted by climate change. No place is safe - even Maui burns. He did not need to move out of LA to mitigate his fire risk - he could've moved out of the foothills.
