The child poverty rate is one in three. The working age poverty rate is just over one in five. The pensioner poverty rate - according to AgeUK, who campaign on this stuff - is 18%.
So children are almost twice as likely to live in poverty than pensioners

If the rest of the country enjoyed the level of investment that London gets, we wouldn't need as much public spending. I visit London often & never cease to be amazed at the superb infrastructure & wealth of opportunities available to its population, compared to the crumbling poverty elsewhere.

This invasive species has been found to devour 1400 species and not just honeybees.
Despite efforts to eradicate the pest – the Asian hornet is still spreading in Switzerland. We cannot let the Asian Hornet establish in UK.
