But hey you keep standing up for the criminals and serial sexual abusers at the TSA, I'm sure that helps... someone, I guess.

I simply don't fly, because I'm not volunteering to give up my constitutional right to freedom of movement.

Why the fuck would anyone pay someone to grossly violate their human right to free travel?

Will @girldm.com be refilling you with coloured mayonnaise for the month?

Realistically, it's only the security theater that is a problem. We should abolish the entirety of DHS.

Except for the part where he's currently working to strip workers in his state of benefits.

Any damage like this would end up being refused warranty coverage, so screen or case, it's still a full-MSRP "fix."
comment in response to post
Even if you don't hit the product itself, you might hit the power cord or some other accessory. And then even before all that, you've ruined the box. A lot of people collect them, and they're also needed for warranty shipping.

It would ruin the camera on an iPhone, for example. And since it's a flat surface, you have to lean on the stapler to punch it, meaning if there WAS a bigger gap, the box would bend inward and you'd probably hit the screen anyway. If it was the other way around, the case would be damaged.

You'd be lucky not to get a lawsuit even after returning it.

Increase sodium intake, increase water intake, increased urine production removes more sodium, it's not an issue *if you do not have an underlying health condition*, but they do. You can also slightly increase your potassium consumption to increase sodium removal.

I worked a call center and, to be fair, I'm also really fucking angry by the time I've made it through a 45 minute maze of bullshit to finally get someone on the phone who isn't allowed to do anything at all to help resolve an issue.

Sodium level is functionally irrelevant if you don't have a disorder that requires you lower it. If you eat more sodium, just drink more water, and it has zero effect.

So, basically, "They can't do business in the EU? Good."

It is nearly always my standpoint that any activity in conflict with the GDPR is inherently unethical.

I'm also thinking like a dev. What had to be cut from the *game* to have a character creator, and what does the creator add to it?
comment in response to post
I don't really like character creators in most games where it's not important that you're your own person. Like it makes sense to have a character creator in an RPG, but it doesn't make sense to have a character creator in Contra.
comment in response to post
People don't blame devs quite enough, like someone at work referred to an accented letter as an "illegal character" and uh... no, that's just a normal everyday language that your code is too shit to handle.
comment in response to post
This sounds about right for incompetent developers who can't figure out that people move between the two.
comment in response to post
Where there's legal conflict with the GDPR, you simply can't do business in the EU, period.

If you don't make it worse, you can't justify charging to fix it.

Even the cat is shocked.

Oh apparently it's also Nintendo's fault because "they're packaged screen-out", like JUST DON'T HAMMER METAL SPIKES INTO THE BOX.
comment in response to post
Unfortunately I hate basically all of this. I just want game series I enjoy to continue being their own thing, and stop turning themselves into game series I think are dogshit.
comment in response to post
And people are blaming Nintendo for not making the box more resistant to PUNCTURING IT WITH SHARP METAL RODS.
comment in response to post
A Gamestop stapled receipts to Switch preorders, and, shockingly, this damaged the product inside.
comment in response to post
Dumb fuckers are blaming Nintendo because STAPLING SHIT TO THE SCREEN DAMAGES IT, meanwhile this is the first I've heard of the transfer process, an actual problem.

They have to overload their servers as much as possible to make the experience shit for both new owners *and* every single other person trying to use the eShop or even just the same internet connection.
