“If you lay a hand on law enforcement officers you will face the consequences.” (Some exceptions apply - mainly if it happened on Jan 6.)

I remember one case where British soldiers shot protesters. Somewhere in Boston in 1770, wasn’t it?

I thought people are supposed to become more conservative as they age. I’m 77, used to be fairly moderate, and suddenly I’m a Bernie Bro.

I appreciate Ms. Young’s perspective. I was a little surprised by how few people of color were at the Hands Off rally in our town. Her reasoning would go a long way to explain that.

Is this all part of the plan of tech billionaires to make JD Vance look good?

When we talk of neo-Nazism today maybe the memory of Katlyn and so many other innocent children will remind us that it is not a political philosophy but an evil horror.

The photos that @auschwitzmemorial.bsky.social posts all recall the tragedy of Nazism. The photos of children like Michel are especially disturbing. And the most disturbing part is that it can happen again anywhere in the world.

I wonder why Thomas et al wouldn’t agree that “the alleged evidentiary violations … can be addressed in the ordinary course of appeal”? Why special treatment for this particular felon?

Good summary of the Senate report. Minor mentions in there of RBG, Rehnquist, Sotomayor, Gorsuch but nothing to compare to Thomas or Alito.

I respectfully disagree. Trump has already promised to pardon J6 criminals. They should go free while Joe would be visiting Hunter in prison?

Wouldn’t we all like lower taxes and lower debt? So why do I think that with these two in charge that the only efficiencies to be found will throw greater burdens on those least able to manage them?
