For a shortcut to their motivation, just think about Atwood's "Handmaiden's Tale" and you have a pretty fair picture. Their stated goal has been to tear down the Constitution and replace it with their form of Christian theology. This is very real, very dangerous and happening in real time.

Like a seemingly handful of people, I read it and understood what was/is coming. Many, however, chose to ignore it, or even deny it. Many people I talk to are or have been on a media blackout and are “shocked” at what they are seeing. It’s damned important to keep the conversation moving.
