This would require some bold and ambitious programs. Though completely achievable. But instead, they like focusing on the shiny object of the moment…very frustrating.

They are also continuous acting out of fear and a defensive position. I think this leads them down the path of gun restrictions they think will be effective, but are they just pretty dumb. Banning hand guns, would hands down be the best way to reduce violent gun crime, accidents, and suicides.

Guns are a fetish item on the right. Turned into a religious item like the constitution because it is easier to do than the hard work of actually showing up and working on issues that are not simple. Democrats are clueless and in general can’t seem to figure out what and who the represent.

Crazy how health insurance companies are constantly trying to find ways to kill their customers. #universalhealthcare

Yeah, like so many things, legislators are often ill informed about all the details and lobbying groups with money and influence often win the day. Random exceptions like that are kind of comical.

I am all about the regulation of guns, especially handguns which are the culprits for most gun deaths. No problem requiring regular training etc. That said, it is more important to have a sane society that at a minimum ensures we meet people’s basic needs, provides education, and healthcare.

Funny, I made an argument in law school that because the National Guard was essentially federal, not a state military force actually controlled by the governor of a state, that citizens owning firearms becomes essential to possibly defend themselves against federal tyranny.

Yeahhhh…kinda icky to hear about that. Just something kinda paternalistic and insulting about having a king take a throne and open parliament.

Of course! I LOVE native fruit and nut trees. Check out the American Pecan and American Persimmon too! We have so many great trees to work with.

Wyoming elects the dumbest people, no joke. Look at their federal delegation or their state legislature, it is a pathetic small town race to the bottom.
