Loads love to dunk on the Nations League - mainly out of club-focused snobbery - but it’s been a complete success imo. The League A finals are always great, and the stories of the likes of Georgia, Albania, North Macedonia qualifying for tournaments speaks volumes for it lower down as well.

I’m genuinely both gutted and delighted at Caoimhin getting his move to Brentford. Gutted to no longer have a fellow Cork man in the Liverpool team, delighted he’s going to a good club and good manager to get regular football. I really hope he smashes it and thrives as a number 1 in the league.
