The absolute fellas there. Having a big chat about the reports of crying in Turin no doubt.

FIFA didn’t help themselves scheduling those two games as the first two of the tournament. The next two, PSG v AtlĆ©tico and Palmeiras v Porto, might resemble a bit of competition.

But seriously I would be gutted to see Robbo go. It would’ve been amazing if he was willing to be a rotating option with Kerkez but I can understand from his pov why he rather not. Just what a fella. The best left back I’ve ever seen play for Liverpool by a country mile. Love him.

Arne getting rid of Caoimhin and Robbo is it? We will need to address his clear hatred for celtic people whenever he decides to come home from Ocean Beach…

😁

Found it interesting in TAW’s ā€œIn Their Shoesā€ series, how Jonathan Liew challenged the suggestion that Liverpool should be aiming to be better than PSG - insinuating that they’re gonna ā€œstruggleā€ a lot more.

Can’t stop thinking about that eruption of cheering when Trent goes up to receive his league winners medal. The holy mortifying embarrassment of that reception now. Need someone to mute it across all the footage that exists.

ā€œTrentā€ on the back of the shirt. Fluent in Spanish already. Yeah sorry Jürgen but he should’ve been booed again vs Palace.

šŸŽ¶ Let's all meet up in the year 2000 šŸŽ¶

Loads love to dunk on the Nations League - mainly out of club-focused snobbery - but it’s been a complete success imo. The League A finals are always great, and the stories of the likes of Georgia, Albania, North Macedonia qualifying for tournaments speaks volumes for it lower down as well.

MUNSTER FUCKING CHAMPIONS!!!!!!’ šŸ”“āšŖļø

Caoimhin took that goal kick like a CHAMPION if you ask me

Advance notice to all political pundits and columnists: you do not, under any circumstances, gotta hand it to him

Of all the big European teams to be good, Spain are defo the most fun ones when they are.

Might go back onto twitter to see the usual shock and anger at international football taking place during the same time period it does every year. Sense of comfort to seeing it.

On Wirtz watch atm. A glorious evening.

I’m genuinely both gutted and delighted at Caoimhin getting his move to Brentford. Gutted to no longer have a fellow Cork man in the Liverpool team, delighted he’s going to a good club and good manager to get regular football. I really hope he smashes it and thrives as a number 1 in the league.

Inter Milan lived out our ā€œwhat could’ve happened in Istanbul after half-timeā€ fears last night *shudders*

Be nice having your own one of these, wouldn’t it lad?

Big fan of us getting in Frimpong a few hours after confirming Trent is gone. Moved on to someone with pace and an actual appetite to be here. Lovely stuff.

Now that he’s gone, can we pack it in with the well-wishing of Trent please? He got far more appreciation than he deserved on Sunday imo. Not for me, but fine. Now though, if and when we get Madrid in the CL, he should be booed into oblivion.

The level of greatness in this photo is legitimately overwhelming. So blessed to watch these two in red together.

*cries in the island of ireland*

Think I’ve about one more ā€œcan you hear crying in Turin by any chance?ā€ question allowed before my partner, rightly, drops the people’s elbow on my ass. 6am asking it may have been pushing it this morning…

Chelsea getting a CL spot and winning a European trophy doesn’t feel in line with the sort of season it felt like they were having.

Everything about this from Virgil’s instagram is magnificent.

Hahahaha

A quick insight into my TikTok algorithm atm

Seeing your team win the league with your mates is the best thing to do in the world btw. Sang, cried, drank and bathed in red flare smoke for three days straight. Champions.

Going through every photo I saved to relive the joy. So many iconic snaps from the weekend. Want all of them on my mantelpiece, in the Louvre, etched into my retina forever more.
