Agreed, I think the team is close for sure.
Here's hoping Adams pulls a 180 and figures out how to objectively evaluate his roster. If he can make those moves I'll be happy, I just worry he'll over value "his guys" and end up inactive again because he can't get exactly what he wants.

Yeah that's probably the right call.
It's just so toxic over there even in the decent subs. I also realized that looking up video game info was why I've stopped enjoying games as much so it was time to get rid of it.

My main issue is that he seems to over-value players and he's gotten progressively worse in press conferences.
I liked what he had to say most of the time the first few years. Then his actions stopped backing up his words and he keeps shooting himself in the foot every time he talks now lol

I feel like he probably just had a 500 slide PowerPoint that talked in circles about "culture" and how it will turn into a Stanley Cup. Just made it so confusing that Terry had no idea what was going on and blindly trusted him because it's the cheapest option.

Agreed. If any of what he said when he purchased the team was genuine there's no chance he'd be ok with the state of the team.
Not firing Adams after 5 seasons of continued mediocrity tells me he sees the team as a burden that he has to keep afloat with as little financial support as possible.

Just sucks that they have their heads so far up their own asses that they can't look at the roster objectively. Adams is far too emotionally connected to players to ever be successful in his role.
