At the age of 35, I sat in a cancer hospital and breastfed my 5 month old for the last time. I had two more young kids at home - 7 and 3. All four drugs in the chemo cocktail I took to treat my cancer were made possible by NIH research. This budget is an attack on human lives in multiple ways.

This is a good mnemonic that my brain refuses to believe. I have literally thought to myself, “die for game first right? But I always get this wrong so maybe I *think* it’s die first but it’s actually scissors first…or maybe I just always psych myself out so, die first… or maybe-“
