I do believe the government of which Streeting is a member has questions to answer over its response to IDS and it's slaughter.

It does appear from the photograph to have been a close run thing

Why not? We had a lettuce as PM

Oh dear surely there must be some way of consoling the poor vulnerable souls. Perhaps disappearing back to Israel rather than taking up space in this country.

Excellent to watch. Great squad mentality

Weird country we live in. Keep selling arms to IDF however.

Christians willingly or perhaps unwittingly being used as another platform for Reform 'values'. Census and ONS details confirm that Christians are in fact a minority in England when taking into account those who hold no religious beliefs at all.

You are correct. It concerned sex abuse and the exploitation of minors. This covered the victims and focused those in my opinion who are the most important players in all of this. Gangs, individuals etc are another issue. Importantly the throwing of stones in glass houses by Philps covers non action

In retrospect I need to apologise for using the word 'then' three times in so short a post. Irritating.
comment in response to post
Not referring to Prof Alex's Jay's 2022 report then that was swept aside by whoever was in power then. Oops that would be Philp's gang then.

Oh dear. Any publicity is good publicity for these dwellers of the past so can we just look away please?

This reads as despicable and again flags a not fit for purpose system. Perplexed as to how DWP has a working tax credit system that updates assistance on a monthly basis but is unable to provide the same for carers .

One of the sickest pieces of reporting I have seen in a while. Bbc 'journalist' pushing this guy to the edge with continously asking how he felt about losing family. The guy was brave in the face of a continouse barrage of non empathetic interrogation. Sick.

Katy never had to deal with any of that nonsense when she was an astronaught/astrological. Seriously though Where's security?

Teesside mayor tactics. Bad Boy Benny Houchen flatters his voters by promising similarly whilst hiding the accounts.

A tribune for the working class? So says a man who has a fictious idea of what a working class person is when commenting about another man who seeks to undermine and mislead the working class.

And the race to the bottom continues. MPs complain about the risk of harm and threat they face but really, the amount of venom and bile some of them spout, serves only to generate a self fulfilling prophecy.

Yep bring back the tories or give Reform (farage plc) a go. What the hell do these people have nothing better to do?

The call for a burka ban in the House possibly left a bad taste in the mouth and maybe made him realise what he was part of. Interesting as to what comes next as this was the man arguably making a difference.

The article itself is contradictory . 'Relatively strong squad' vs losing two key players. In fairness this is a highly competitive league with the whole 24 teams still fighting for survival or Premier league status with five games remaining. Makes for probably the hardest division to manage in.

On the face of it that's good news. Does appear to be only part of the story but hey step by step. Need some good news on nursing recruitment next

Let's work this out. United States has a list of leaders on a kill list then we are supposed to be shocked that other countries have similar. Hmm.

Didn't really feel that the examination of these processed packages was about making mothers or fathers for that matter, guilty rather than an examination of duping parents under the pretence of making their lives easier and proffering substandard food. Let's not make this a distraction please.

Arguably a poisoned chalice of a result. No real power in Parliament but now have the opportunity to show how difficult it is to be responsible in terms of local government. As many before them have found its easier to be in opposition and rant about what you would do.

Very hard to digest this news. The word survivor doing a lot of heavy lifting and disguising the tragedy of living the unspeakable events. No one deserved what she went through

You are not wrong and locally i know of lots of complaints in this matter. At times it appears the ear against the far right is dictating party response.
comment in response to post
Hardly likely. As a barrister or prime minister he will interpret the law as dictated. The Supreme Court ruling is not quite but almost a u-turn and Starmer has no option but to follow it whether he agrees or not. His public persona would always do so

Look forward to complaints that this has been timed to coincide with the upcoming local elections

Big opportunity for UK to flag its non racist credentials by treating those people just the same as Asian Begum was/is still treated. They believe in Israel so stick them there because they appear to be an extreme threat to peace.

Hard to keep tabs on the murderous land grabs going on around the world. List of places to boycott gets longer and longer.
comment in response to post
Almost a proxy war going on. Trump and his associates interested only in disruption and wealth grab that comes with power. Tariffs cause distress only to 'ordinary' business and population. Check out any country run by autocrats - those in power are unaffected and direct blame for the pain elsewhere

Yep that's Jeremy who prefers to be in opposition rather than government. Always the one to vote against his own party. Good riddance
