Very concerning. The US relies on foreign trained docs to come to the US for residency training (25% of all residents). If this rule applies to incoming medical trainees, this will affect badly not only individual residents, but also residency programs & hospitals.

Update: reports today that multiple legal observers were arrested today in New York at two separate immigration courts, for allegedly “obstructing” ICE. Not only that, apparently some immigration courts are barring the public from attending hearings. This mess is escalating fast.

I'm currently reading a book about the history of toxicology, and thinking about arguments over seatbelts or vaccines, human nature is completely identical 60 or 120 years ago. Same corrupt politicians, reactionary beliefs, petty fights... People don't change as fast as technology. 🤷‍♂️
