Politicians believe that avoiding answering a question is a great skill - when in fact it just highlights what low calibre idiots we are being ruled by. Starmer not able to admit trump would not support de-escalation at the G7 a recent example. Utterly pathetic.

The problem with articles about Long COVID is they look at numbers of people with LC & risk factors, but by definition, only consider the relatively rapid onset, (largely autoimmune?) type of LC. The other, equally worrying categories haven't started manifesting yet & likely affect most people.

If I mention any recent development, whether that day's US horror, climate science, COVID reality, Gaza genocide, what's happening to sick & disabled people.... pretty much every person I know reacts negatively. "Talk about something else, not everything is gloom and doom". This is how doom happens.

Explained to some friends the war on science and research in the US. "They wouldn't do that, why would you do that". When I explained it had already happened & why, was told I have a bleak view of the world. No-one prepared to be sent any links. No idea how we fix this.

If you work in healthcare, would you say your practice was welcoming and accommodating to people with disabilities or health issues? If someone asks you to wear a respirator for their appointment, do you say "of course, absolutely no problem" Do you need to review your earlier answer?

OK confession, I'm losing my patience with dentists who say "no" when all we asked was would the dentist wear a FFP3 for the appointment please. From now on they will get this email.

📢8 new dentists added to Safe Inside📢 places happy to switch to FFP3 masks if asked. Note these aren't COVID aware businesses (bar the odd exceptions they don't exist), just decent people who will respond to us asking for adjustments. Send in any good places you know.
