Two judges have forced the US government to reinstate two senior federal officials fired by President Trump, one saying: "An American President is not a king” 👏 www.newsweek.com/donald-trump...

Reform is imploding, with serious allegations against Rupert Lowe, emotional denials, possible hatchet jobs from team Farage and highly undignified infighting. Meanwhile, I’m just sitting here LAUGHING MY ARSE OFF.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Notice to any Republican Congressman expressing remorse for confirmation votes for psychopaths and anti-social malcontents. Go Fuck yourself Cowardly Quislings You bought it, you own it.

Good article by Peter Baker. Quite an extensive list of lies…. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/23/u...

I’m George Takei and I approve of this message.

There isn’t published evidence that America has spent 350 billion. Official papers suggest around half of that, much of which was spent in America not Ukraine. Europe says it has spent more. Zelenskyy polls lower than he did two years ago but still high and higher than Trump in America.

Zelenskyy says Trump is living in a Russian "disinformation space", which is Ukrainian for being Putin's bitch. apnews.com/article/russ...

Another similarity between Badenoch & Corbyn is tendency to dismiss opponents rather than take them seriously as people who hold different views for good reasons. Corbyn saw opponents as less morally virtuous. Badenoch sees them as stupid. In both cases, they have a fig leaf for their own laziness

Psychiatrist Allan House was permitted, like me, to speak to the assisted dying committee - but only after it first tried to ban @rcpsych.bsky.social’s testimony. Pls read his letter. How is the committee remotely serious about protecting the vulnerable if it dismisses the doctors who treat them?

NBC News confirms: An IRS employee affiliated with Elon Musk's DOGE has accessed an IRS system that holds sensitive taxpayer information. @msnbc.com

Nigel Farage wants to get rid of the NHS and replace it with US Health Insurance which would be 4x more expensive and worse in every way. Except for the £600bn a year profit for him and his mates.

Disgusting, pathetic, and contemptible. People like Gove, O'Brien, and Bowman are nothing but the aspiring satraps of a foreign oligarchy. They should have no place in British public life.

Gutting the CDC right as we’re on the cusp of major outbreaks of transmissible diseases is a very bad idea.

Amen.

I thought these guys were all in favour of public schools.

In RFK jnr, the USA now has a guy in charge of its public healthcare who thinks that the MMR vaccine causes autism and that flouride and chemicals in water cause cancer and turn kids gay and transgender. Good luck, America.

We’re not going to call it the Gulf of America. Some thoughts on the latest episode of “The Jim Acosta Show.”

Farage complains that only 41% of 18-27 year old are proud to be British; down from 80% in 2004. He is almost certainly the main person who has destroyed pride in this country. The treasonous grifter should be thrown out of the country.

I don't like him. But this is a good summary.

Trump is asked on Fox whether he sees Vance as his natural successor in 2028. “No”, the President replies.

Kendrick Lamar managed to piss off all the right people. Well done.

Clarkson is right. Brexit has made travelling to the EU with any kind of professional equipment, nightmarish. Carnets for cameras etc is a bureaucratic, expensive waste of time. But it applies to loads of industries, esp musicians/performing artists etc. www.thetimes.com/article/5356...

Highly recommend: "Join or Die" on Netflix about community in America. Stunning conclusions about how hierarchy destroys trust, well-being, and democracy -- and how horizontal social connections create meaning, purpose, equality, and commitment to better societies. Inspiring! Organize!

We know what’s going on here.

If Labour approves the Rosebank oil field, it would be the final straw for many of its green-minded voters. It might appease corporate power for a moment, but in doing so it will lose far more than it gains. The government seems to be on a self-destructive streak. Now's the time to rethink.

The only way out is through. And the only way through is TOGETHER.
