I’ve had people visit and be unwilling or unable to walk as long as ten or twenty minutes, insisting on taking a car (or getting something delivered). It’s deeply concerning.

I never get tired of these. In the US, a bus is like $500K or so, right? The direct capital cost of all these cars is so much more than a single bus carrying more people with less space.

Are there any reasons not to do green tracks everywhere that isn’t street running, by default? It’s prettier and seems to have no downsides, but I don’t know the logistics of it.

To the extent that the kind of severe anti-social behavior that people worry about does exist, it is far less likely to randomly harm you than any of the myriad dangers of suburban life. Our city is flawed, but it is paradise compared to any of its surroundings

There’s also a bus to Line 2 right? I remember going the long way on my trip since I had extra time and it was included in the pass, so no additional fare.
