To be fair to the prequels, Lucas knew he was making movies mainly for kids and understood that kids thought glowy laser swords were cool. The problem is all the adults whose only takeaways were "glowy laser swords are cool," which were the sequels' target demographic.

They did "Star Wars Treasure Planet" and it was a fun if unambitious kids adventure show. Ended up being more interesting than rehashing old Jedi plots ad nauseum for nostalgia bait.

No way he legitimately though he'd be challenging for a title more than at Mercedes, it's all about jumping the queue in their sportscar pyramid scheme.

Curious what this looks like without parking, since most of the least affordable teams are easily accessible by train/bus.

Public funding for caucus budgets, and ability to ask questions in Parliament. Threshold in federal Parliament is 12 seats.

I've seen the occasional TV ad, but they've only been attacking Carney. Stupid loser mentality.

Always fun to play in a setting where everyone is trying to one-up each other over who's the biggest jackass, including the player.

Pretty sure Vegas' goalie was created by mashing random buttons in NHL Create-A-Pro, so I'm expecting Calgary to get shutout with 40+ shots.

Two people, and their names rhyme with "Ladam Nopeband" and "Rave Seltzer."

I miss Ball but Abbott's fine, Hrudey needs to get launched out of a cannon.

Ripping up the Oregon treaty makes sense when you remember Danielle Smith is an inside agent who would love to be able to funnel Alberta oil to the coast without that pesky BC government getting in the way.

Or more simply: all the things America exported around the world.

"Canada pledges to place X number of troops near the US border to ensure border security." where X is the number of troops already stationed at regular and reserve bases near the border anyway.

Feels like Calgary had more defensive zone giveaways than shots before their goal.

There's been plenty of discussion from all involved about Gene's ideas during early TNG, but standing firm on "no interpersonal drama among the crew" was one of the best decisions ever made.

Mass enslavement and murder of humans, genocide against sapient felines, and wilful destruction of private pottery.

Sounds like a specific problem that can and should be solved to make the option more viable.

It's not just "perhaps the worst" you "can recently recall." Their PP%+PK% (74.8%) is literally the worst in history since they were tracked in 77-78, and by almost 10% to second worst (77-78 Caps, 83.9%). No points for guessing who was first in 77-78, which remains the best in league history.

Overall nationwide culture of being reactive with construction instead of proactive?

I'm glad Huska has been able to instill a culture of buying in, especially after Sutter and the exodus, but the next stage is going to need to be playing better as a team. Last thing they need is a repeat of 14-15.

MLB has 1 team in Canada, not 7. NHL can add 4 US teams just to catch up to MLB/NBA. Playoffs not an issue if regular season is shortened. Tradition for tradition's sake kills the sport.

Every time I've been to an A&W/LJS it feels like being with two parents who obviously hate each other and have only not divorced because of the kids.

An undervalued way to improve density is simply removing minimum lot sizes and required building separation/street frontage for detached residential lots, instead of focusing on vertical development.

Still impressed by his pace, though that's not a high bar compared to Sargeant and Latifi. His consistency needs work, but it feels like him trying to do too much and burning himself, as opposed to previous drivers not doing enough.
