Yes I do. We had a great time and loads of rounders. PE, Art and Drama. Nobody was watching. Was it better? More productive? I have no idea. But what fun we had. Not sure we will ever know.

I have no time for LibDems having experienced coalition. But just think if they were overtly racist, had a fraction of the seats and fought like rats in a sack, they would be plastered over the media every day.

Thing that amazes me is that if you put a dozen of the right-thinking people in a room, we (coz I know we are), could very much improve the offer we make to children everywhere. We could help create a system where they were encouraged to think, imagine and be curious and critical. So guess what…!šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

PS if it’s worth anything, I would parcel it as ECB Enjoyment Confidence Belonging But same underpins as your thoughts for sure

Like Alex (Boris) Johnson and a million others like him? I get your point, but like all centrists you only choose to see a bit of the point rather that the substantial part that is buried deep releasing its poison.

The one who makes me laugh is Sam Freedman. All he did was run to the pie shop for Gove. Now he is a leading educationalistšŸ˜‚

Much as he is hated, (still) he would have been the only Prime Minister since Thatcher who actually believed in stuff. And the only one in my lifetime who believed in the right stuff. So I’m sorry you think I’m aggressive. But truth is I still feel the total betrayal he endured. 4/5

ā€˜Prime ministerial’ should have been in ā€œā€ He was in an impossible and truly unprecedented position. And of course with regret far too many people (like you) bought it all to a lesser or greater degree. Personally I think he would have been assassinated, so I’m glad on that front because..3/4

..2/2 terrified and so something had to be done. So we were presented with ā€˜spy’, ā€˜anti-Semite’ ā€˜ supporter of terrorists’ and much more. No amount of hope and empathy could withstand the attacks that were only comparable to those on Benn and Foot. So he absolutely became ā€˜unelectable’ my ref to 2/3
comment in response to post
Right seeing as you are so affronted, I’ll take the time to explain. You used the term ā€˜unelectable’. In 2017 that was patently untrue as he was very nearly elected on a flood of hope and unprecedented support amongst the young. The establishment and especially the Labour Party establishment..1/2

BBC (🤮) referring to these people as Israeli ā€˜far-right’ Think that should make it clear to us all that the lunatic fringe will ALWAYS want more and will never be sated by appeasement. In other news Starmer continues to appease Reform

šŸ˜€ ā€˜Us’ (subjective) ā€˜7 elections’ (objectively ludicrous) I don’t believe Corbyn was Prime Ministerial. But he certainly wasn’t genocidal and unlike current Labour couldn’t be bought. Fact is we are totally shafted with little or no ā€˜left’ in sight.

Zoe that’s terrific. Please don’t let perfection be the enemy of the good. I’m afraid you will never get it ALL right, so avoid the stress by accepting, apologising and learning from the stuff that goes awryšŸ¤” (Also be dead good at asking well considered concise questions) šŸ‘šŸ‘
