Port Moody trialed this during the pandemic for certain parks and we’ve now made it permanent. The only slight negative that has been realized is more frequent collection of recycling/garbage.

My family and I had the privilege of attending the festival earlier today. It was a vibrant and beautiful celebration of heritage, community, and resilience. Check on your friends, please and take care of one another.

Walkability supports complete communities, letting people walk, roll, or drive to daily needs. It means fewer car trips, more transit and biking, better health, and a stronger, more connected community. /end
