In fact, people have found it odd when I do that I’ve had to explain why I called them ‘it’ multiple times

Everyone I know refers to Siri and Alexa as 'she' (or the occasional 'he' if they changed their setting) "I told Siri to do this and she did..." or "Alexa's so dumb, she didn't understand when I asked..." I've always made a point to refer to assistants as 'it' but that's not a common scenario

For the record, with my queries I’m not particularly concerned with my company being able to see how often I use the app because this is most of what I use it for

In the same vein the Chinese restaurant down the street from me in a non-descript strip mall that I never see anyone else at and I’m pretty sure is a money laundering front (they key in all their orders as differently priced egg rolls) is always good And I can get two days of food for like $15

Keep in mind that beta testing Ivory was one of the things that actually drew me to Mastodon as a platform Once Ivory released I spent most of my time on Mammoth, though which I also really enjoyed I even got to work with the team But once that went away I came back to Ivory and it's just great

I like how we seem to have figured out how to catch the rocket, a novel feature, but we have yet to figure out how to reliably keep the rocket from blowing up, something we figured out 80 years ago

That being said I enjoy SwiftUI and wouldn’t want to use anything else on iOS But for all the good it does you, it really doesn’t do you any favors here

That whole autism thing really puts a damper on making changes quickly Took me about a year to fully move away from ordering on Amazon, took me until this weekend to basically completely stop going to Target But we’re (the voices in my head and I) getting there

I’ve never not liked plant-based meat alternatives (outside of tofu…we have a complicated relationship) And from a macronutrient standpoint, it usually ends up being better for my goals which is interesting Still haven’t made the jump because I’d have to rethink my safe foods but I’m getting there
