I have to disagree about the “corrections,” which are unclear and kind of stupid, although certainly not so stunningly dumb as the letter. At first, I could not believe that it came from the federal government, but then I recognized the familiar cadence of a Donald Trump dictation. What maroons!

Sorry, not buying it. People gathering to start a presentation often have pleasant or humorous interactions unrelated to the subject matter. It can be awkward. No matter how much we might dislike a particular person or policy, though, there’s no need to make crap up.
