So corporate thugs rather than Stat thugs then ?

Best I can imagine is that in some markets, buying online is a pain and a half.

Did you realize right away that Mai was a ninja ?

Suddenly remembering Nick Fury's first appearance in the Ultimate Universe, before he looked like Samuel L. Jackson.

The companies sucking is definitely a theme but they're well beyond taking all your money!

My high school years were in the 2000's.

Je bute sur "j'enfile toujours une clinique", c'est quoi l'anglais d'origine ?
comment in response to post
Almost. "Penis" is masculine but most of the slang words for it are feminine.

Arkane Studios ?

That spike in the music when the dog's paw touches the pot sounded so much like sizzling at first that I got scared for a second!

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping this is a consequence of the troubled development cycle and The Outer Worlds 2 will have less of this. However Obsidian's recent output doesn't fill me with confidence, Grounded also had massive updates after launch. Even Pentiment got updates!

The promotional push in the boxing world doesn't feel like promotion for the game but promotion for the boxing events using the name. Because that name is metal.

They apparently intend to add new passive and active abilities, notably for the Fighter and Ranger trees.

Je n'arrive pas à savoir si les posts qui reprennent cette info et ajoutent "C'est l'énergie que devraient avoir les Démocrates!" sont sincères ou sarcastiques.

Not the same aura but I believe that's why Feargus Urquhart (CEO of Obsidian Entertainment) stopped giving interviews for a few years, he just kept talking and talking and talking.

Zero Punctuation est du sketch comique. Red Letter, même s'il y a une dimension comique, ils font de la critique.

Matt has made What Happened on success stories too. On a fighting game even!

Did the SNK bosses have a say in who they were sold to ? The company hasn't been independent in decades I believe...

Sorry, "execution squad" really implies "firing squad" in my head.

John Brown was hanged, not shot. But it is true that John Wilkes Booth was there!

I think they could remove the timer entirely and just have only one option available. The player would still need to actively select it so as to not be taken by surprise.
comment in response to post
The timer they've shown is too long though. People who skip through the dialog would have gone through 3 nodes by the time one finishes!

A cat who's afraid of straight people. Sorry I discovered Camp Camp recently.

IGN is putting out pieces on the game this month. The second one is about character creation and although I don't know the specific gripes you have with character progression, the sequel may be answering at least those.

Sawyer is still at Obsidian and John Gonzalez came back a few months ago. Neither of them worked on TOW2 though.

It apparently is. Groups of skills are gone, perks with skill conditions are back, traits are in (very GURPS of them), etc. The only thing that seems to be missing are attributes... www.ign.com/articles/how...
comment in response to post
I wonder if nowadays that first line would have been translated with "Why so serious ?".
comment in response to post
I wonder if Attributes are gone ?

For a game that brought true goofiness to Red Alert, that intro isn't quite the tone setter it should be. Still very good though.

It's weird that he's aged so much whereas Rock and Hotaru didn't change at all. If he's become a teenager, they should be young adults by now!

How does one simulate the multiple kinds of power sources in a game like Deadfire without classes ?
comment in response to post
Gender neutral really. At least in french.

In my case it doesn't help that I distinctly remember reading an article on GTA who found the satire/parody in it not very good and believed that the developers being foreigners probably didn't help.

I love the contempt that the DLC has for the "general" leadership/managerial class. Especially the name they gave themselves... "Office of Creative Incubation", really ? Could you be more conceited ? Even the insufferable bean counter has more of a conscience and interior life!
comment in response to post
Have you watched the musical trailer for that DLC ? I find it catchy.

I switched armors on my companions all the time whenever I faced a lock that was too hard for my character. I also abused the 150 skill points "perk" that allows switching companions outside of the ship.
comment in response to post
It already exists for Deadfire.

I didn't do Roseway till much later in the game because I had enough money to pay for the Stellar Bay pass.

Have you reached Monarch yet ? It won't satisfy your hopes but I find the corpo there rather sympathetic and there's a leader on the other side who's really sympathetic and good at their job (and also the proponent of a "gun control law" that I find simple but also kind of funny).
comment in response to post
There's also a weird conflation between capitalism and bureaucracy ? It's not particularly focused on but it comes up in banter between Felix and Nyoka.

Oh there's some prison throw in there too. It's just that the prison time would have to wait till the appeal's been heard whereas prosecutors have asked for the ineligibility to be applied immediately and the judge followed.
comment in response to post
Hey don't think that. France has a big corruption problem too!
comment in response to post
Hadn't Lincoln made a genuine turn toward abolitionism by that time ?
comment in response to post
Replace "Nazis" with "Soviets" and you've got the first Command & Conquer : Red Alert game.
comment in response to post
I thought you were using a weird similé because of censorship issues or something 😆

He didn't talk her out of it though, he physically shoved the gun away at the same time that he put himself between Scar and her. It's a "good" thing that the whole situation triggered Scar's PTSD because otherwise Ed would have been dead meat! The talk happened after the action.

So does Terry.

Do we have a voice, animations or gameplay for them ?
