The Federal government has never before paid for a living president’s birthday parade. “The estimated cost of this parade is around $45 million.” This type of thing is supposed to only happen in an authoritarian state.

This Memorial Day I am remembering Corporal Samuel Moore (1840-1864) [1st Cousin 5x Removed]. Enlisted in the 100th Pennsylvania Infantry, the Roundheads, Co. E August 31, 1861. Mortally wounded at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse May 12, 1864 and died May 28, 1864.
