I haven't played PoT in quite some time, but back when I did play, Arazoa was a great RP server. Rules about which dinos that the predators can hunt, can only hunt when hunger is below 60%, stuff like that. It was a good time!

Thanks for making this post. Even as a trans person, I was not aware of this, so you're not just helping by explaining it to cis people.

Welcome to the club! idk how healthcare is there, but if you are having any symptoms, get checked for a concussion! (Do as I say, not as I do)

God I love her

Ah damn, you're right. If someone from one field founds the business, they can't hire anyone else from that business. Checkmate, I guess.

And your argument is incredibly flimsy, considering the company is founded and run by voice actors. We've been over this

Ideally, yes. But we're not there yet. This is a great stepping stone to get there, which was my initial point :)

That might have more weight if the business wasn't run by voice actors

After more research, I agree. It doesn't really do anything, and isn't worth the power that would be needed for it.

Yes, the deal was specifically with Ethovox. Why's that? Because Ethovox came to them wanting to make a deal. They will work with any company that comes to them. And, of course, AI will scrape their voices and such. But companies with the deal are going to have higher quality samples and outputs.

Yeah, after a bit more research, it does seem that glazing doesn't help at all. Unfortunate.
comment in response to post
Hmm, it seems that you're correct there. It's unfortunate, because artists do need a way to protect their art from AI scraping until there are regulations on it.

You're presenting a lot of negative points without providing any alternative ideas. Doing SOMETHING is better than doing NOTHING. Would I love for the government to create a law making it illegal to scrape data without permission? Of course. But that hasn't happened, and these options have.

Finally: It makes me very happy to see companies and organizations working to make AI training ethical. First SAG-AFTRA negotiating the regulations for voice actors being able to be paid for training, and now this. I can tell that y'all genuinely care and are trying to make it as best as possible.

Second: This may be what you're working with the engineers on, but there are plenty of ways to 'glaze' artwork to prevent AI scraping. Perhaps you could apply that to any images that are uploaded to Bluesky, except for the users who have opted in Third: PLEASE have it be opt-in and NOT opt-out.

Hi there! As an artist, I'd like to give my input on this. And while I know that you're likely being flooded by responses, I hope that someone sees this and at least gets them thinking. First: I hope that you're not just working with lawyers and engineers. Involve artists in the conversation too.

The only thing I can think of is that you're using the mobile app so it's limited. This is what it looks like for me on Desktop

If you click the "Bluesky Moderation Service" thing in your first picture, you should see it

It's in Settings

There's also this button which allows you to customize even more. There was "Sexually Suggestive (Cartoon)" in these options that was making a lot of my feed be hidden, and for some reason it's not in the primary ones.

But it's missing that authenticity that you can only get from a real kidnapping!

You should check out DoubleShake! It's a game inspired by Mischief Makers (and other stuff) and it really shows. Unfortunately release date is TBA but the demo is fun
