The bear has lost much of its strength.

Im talking about armour only, which has not gone up since Nov 23. I think that reflects their max capacity to restore and produce.
I expect it to drop eventually when they run out of things to restore. Civilian vehicles will have to take up the slack as they have been doing.

Question is, when do we expect the armour plateau to turn into a decline?
It would be a strong signal of permanent degradation of russian forces.

Interesting thread.
The trillion ruble question then is, can they get enough contracts signed in 2025 to maintain their numbers or will the number of active personnel decline?

Of enemy wounds?
Is he talking about Ukrainian casualties or Russian? It is not clear.

Why does congress sound like a sitcom laugh track?
As if these people are all just in npc mode praising whatever he does and trying not to think about it too hard.

I think they strung everyone along on Maybes so that Europe and other Ukr partners would stall any other plans to increase aid.

They should not have waited 3 years to do it. They should not have sat around waiting for Biden and then Kamala to win an election. Let's not forget, Germany sent 5000 helmets when the full invasion happened. Nice.
One day soon, it will be too late.

I hope (but am not optimistic) that from the weekend's events the EU response will be more than just reaffirmations of support.
Each day, the EU chooses not to defeat Russia comprehensively in Ukraine.
Let's not all forget that the EU can send REAL support any time and give Ukr a serious advantage.

Actually agree with him.
Trump has made it very clear he is not on Europe's side. Will they continue sending strongly worded emails or will they support Ukraine properly, the way they should have from the beginning? It's time for Europe to grow a spine and aggressively engage in Ukr defence.

It speaks volumes that the one senior guy in the room who actually knows a thing or two is not directly involved in negotiations on US side.

Imo, the EU is still acting frankly butthurt at the prospect of the US treating them like a non-player in talks.
The solution is simple. Grow a spine, massively increase assistance to Ukraine and show the yanks that they are NOT essential, that Ukraine and Europe can hold their own.

Not true. I was a huge fan until he started going off the rails. I used to see him as a nerdy visionary industrialist. Now I see him as a deluded megalomaniacal oligarch.

Trump is now happy he got what he actually wanted the whole time out of them (whatever it is, it's probably nothing to do with fentanyl or tariffs) and encouraged to continue his brazen bigstack bully antics with everyone else.

Brilliant manipulation by trump, who probably never intended to implement any tariffs and invented a fake fentanyl problem to twist the arms of his neighbours. What can they do except force themselves to forget this insult and continue as normal -

Not to mention the staggering losses of tanks by russia.
Nobody has noticed that russia no longer has the largest tank fleet in the world.
Some day this year, they won't have the largest tank fleet in Ukraine.

Andrew Perpetua.
His equipment loss lists and satellite map analysis are the best out there right now.
He also has a youtube channel that covers certain strategic updates on the actual fighting.
