Update: my wife had her USCIS interview a 2 weeks ago. The interview request was sent to me. Unusual, according to my lawyer. I was hardly asked anything, and my wife was asked very basic questions. Today I went to the lawyer’s office and picked up her green card.

My wife (a permanent asylum resident) and I (US born) have an interview with USCIS on Friday. We’ve been married 25 years, 3 kids. I have no idea what to expect. We’re paying extra for our lawyer to be there. At this point, I doubt if even our lawyer knows what to expect.

Last night, a regular customer told me about a friend of hers. Her friend’s cat got attacked by her other pet, a pit bull. The poor cat was so injured they rushed her to an emergency vet, but she had to be put down. She just had kittens too./1
