I think of Estonia often and your Singing Revolution. We need to take some lessons from you now to preserve our democracy and science.

Please show up on All Kings Day for democracy, science and medicine. We still have shreds of democracy left but we need a massive grassroots movement to preserve it and all we hold dear.

It's critical for anyone who care about science, medicine and democracy to demonstrate on No Kings Day while we still have some remnants of democracy. We need to build a massive grass roots movement to halt the destruction of all we hold dear! Please stretch beyond your comfort zone!

Watch out for the regime's sneaky efforts to privatize the VA. Bigger budget while slashing services so vets will complain and then turn the VA over to the billionaires. Please watch this: substack.com/home/post/p-...

Please look into the attempts to privatize the VA which seems to be the masterplan. Overall funding higher to hide what is going on; slash services so vets will complain and then privatize VA so billionaires can slash it further. substack.com/home/post/p-...

Please look into obvious plan to privatize the VA. Hide plans with increased budget while decreasing services so vets will complain and billionaires can privatize. This is being missed. substack.com/home/post/p-...

Watch out! Scheme is to privatize VA, fund higher budget but meanwhile cut services so vets will complain. Then privatize. Watch this: substack.com/home/post/p-...

Watch this about schemes to privatize the VA slashing services but not budget to hide what's going on. Vets will complain then Billionaires will privatize. substack.com/home/post/p-...

There's a scheme going on to privatize the VA. It's not obvious because the VA budget is going up while services are slashed. This is similar to what's being done with Medicare, eg close service offices so seniors complain and then the billionaires privatize. Not being covered for the most part.

Yes, appeasment will not work and our universities must form mutual defense pacts and speak out now before it's too late to defeat authoritarianism. Thanks for your post.

Please note I neglected to cite all three authors: Emma Follman, a PhD candidate in the neurosciences, Remington Graham, an undergraduate majoring in Engineering Physics & Lauren Tompkins, an associate professor of physics and Vice President of the Stanford Chapter of the AAUP.
