Oversimplification. Lots of prototyping on planes, sample code and specs on planes. That did happen by many of us

FUZE4 is great! It continues the legacy of 8-bit computers in many ways, allowing you to code directly on the device and use a modern version of BASIC, among other features. P.S. Here I used a mini Switch keyboard with it.
